Nutec is a brand of fiber cement board made by South African company, Everite, but has become the term used to refer to all Wendy houses made using such products. ‘Genuine’ Nutec is a high quality product, with a long-term manufacturers guarantee, and as such, comes at a higher price. Some imported fiber cement boards have the same quality as Nutec, but lack the guarantee. And there are budget boards on the market that might make your pocket happy, but will not be as good.
All Nutec is fiber cement boards, but not all fiber cement boards are Nutec. And it really depends on your budget what you go for, but have your eyes open, just because you are being sold a Nutec Wendy house, doesn’t mean you are getting a ‘Nutec’ Wendy house. Going for the lowest quote means you are not getting a quality board- the cost save has to come from somewhere, but if you are paying a higher price, make sure you know what brands are being used.

If you really want the best quality then invest in the genuine product. Specify it, and ensure that when your unit is built you see the packaging and confirm the boards are genuine.
